Gaynell Welborn Poe
   HAW RIVER, N.C. — Gaynell Welborn Poe, 90, of 126 Ferris Street, went to be with the Lord Nov. 22, 2012 at 3:40 p.m. at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell.

   Mrs. Poe was a member of Haw River United Methodist Church.

   Survivors include son, James Thomas Poe Jr. and wife Lisa of Haw River; and granddaughter, Alaina Poe.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Spencer Welborn and Stella Brown Welborn; husband, James Thomas Poe Sr., and brother, Glenn Welborn.

   The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2012 at Mc-Clure Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.

   The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at Haw River United Methodist Church, 127 Church Circle Drive, Haw River, N.C. 27258 by the Rev. Jeanne Neal. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.

   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
