Minnie Lee May Bond, 99, passed away at home in Danville, June 8, 2015. Minnie was born in Guilford County, North Carolina on May 14, 1916 to the late Cyrus Ruffin and Elsie Annie Barker May. In earlier years, the family lived in Sydnorsville near Rocky Mount, VA.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Markona Bond, sisters, Florence May (infant), Nellie May Marshall, Lucille May Cooper, Georgia May Smith, Vella May Marshall, Dorothy May Saul, Dapheny May (infant) and daughter, Joyce Faye Bond Mays Davis.

Minnie is survived by a sister, Pearl May Perrow, son, Richard Lee Bond, daughters, Elsie Bond Hodges and Deborah Bond Craddock, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.

Interment will follow at Henry Memorial Park. 470, Minnie Lee May Bond
