Earlene Mabry Kizziah, 83, of 3007 Glenwood Drive, Graham, died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 5:37 p.m.
A native of Greenville County, SC. she was the wife of James Franklin Frank? Kizziah and the daughter of John Edward Mabry and Theodosha Emmeline Cline Mabry, both deceased. She was a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Clarice Pickett Sunday Class and the Golden Agers. Aside from her church activities, she was a member of the Mountain View Ruritanets.
Survivors other than her husband of the home include her two daughters, Diane K. Wood and her husband Earl of Lancaster, SC and Janice Carol Kizziah of Graham; two sons, Danny L. Raby and his wife Christa of Snow Camp and Barry F. Kizziah and his wife Betsi of Burlington; eight grandchildren, Stuart Raby and his wife Nina, Yvonne Strickland and her husband Johnny, Eric Raby, Jamie Wood, Jennifer Baldwin and her husband Richard, Molly Albright, Cassidy Kizziah, and Ragan Kizziah; and five great-grandchildren, Holly Strickland, Cody Strickland, Emma Strickland, Amber Raby, and Dustin Raby.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Raby; five sisters, Thelma Beddingfield, Ruth Sikes, Lorree Law, Vera Coble, and Louise Justice; and two brothers, Charlie Mabry and James Buck Forbis.
The funeral service will be conducted at Bellemont United Methodist Church on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. by Dr. Jerry Jackson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
