EFLAND - Mrs. Donnie Isley Thompson, age 80, of Efland, NC, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at her residence.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Curtis Max Thompson and daughter of the late Frank Boyd Isley and Joy Dare May Isley. Donnie was a retired Information Service Manager for an insurance company and a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church.
Surviving, other than her husband of the home, are two sons: Jeffrey Solis (Phyllis) of Graham and Myron Solis (Sarah) of Kernersville; her sister, Pearl Stovall (Lewis) of Burlington; and her brother, F. W. “Bud” Isley of Snow Camp. Donnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank “Wimp” Isley and J. B. Isley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Christian Church, 3210 Mt. Zion Church Rd., Mebane, NC 27302 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
