Mr. John Buck “J.B.” Isley, 72, of Burlington died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 7:19 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Frank Boyd Isley and Joy Dare May Isley, both deceased. Mr. Isley was a Vietnam veteran of the U. S. Army. He was building superintendent and a member of St. Mark’s Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Donnie I. Thompson and husband Max of Efland and Pearl I. Stovall and husband Lewis of Burlington; brother, Floyd “Bud” Isley of Snow Camp; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Kodi Isley.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence of the brother, Bud Isley, 5415 Friendship-Rock Creek Road, Snow Camp, NC.
A graveside service will be conducted at St. Mark’s Church Cemetery on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
