BURLINGTON - Mr. Floyd Edmond "Punnie" Garner, 88, of 323 Baldwin Road, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital.
A native of Alamance County, he was retired from Lakeside Campers.
Survivors include sons, Floyd Edmond Garner Jr. (Kay) of Haw River, N.C., Harold Garner (Bobbie) of Graham, N.C., Billy Garner (Penny) of Burlington and Vernon Garner of Lillington, N.C.; daughters, Bonnie Wise of Graham, and Frances Auman of Burlington; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Pendergraph of Mebane, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Garner and Martha May Garner.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor Steve Pruitt and the Rev. Jim Florence. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. At other times they will be at the home of Billy and Penny Garner, 128 Chestnut Street, Burlington, N.C. 470, Floyd Edmond Garner
