Obituary of Rosalee Brewer

Rosalee Brewer, passed away February 14, 2019.

A Celebration of her life will be held 3:00PM Sunday February 17, 2019 at Alamance Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dr. Jay Lambeth officiating. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the church.
A lifelong resident of Guilford County, Rosalee was the daughter of the late Evelyn Lee Smothers and John Washington Daniels. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her sisters Cheryl and Bobbie Jean.
 She graduated from Jamestown High School. She had worked for Curtis Packing for a few years and later became the first female Tax Collector for Guilford County.
Rosalee had served as the executive secretary for the Greensboro Jaycees for a number of years prior to working with the Greensboro Generals Hockey(later the Monarchs), Greensboro Hornets, Greensboro Bats, and currently the Greensboro Grasshoppers.
Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Jack Brewer of the home; daughter, Joanna Brewer Whitesell and Van of Greensboro; son, Mitch Brewer of Burlington; grandchildren, Spencer Whitesell and Madison Whitesell both of Greensboro; her step-father, Horace Stanley and Shirley of Greensboro; and a host of extended family and friends.
