Minnie L. Brown, 91, of Julian passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Utah Brown; burial followed in Gilmore Memorial Park.
She was the daughter of the late Lattie and Mandy Clapp Brown and was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Bowman, Pauline Brown and Julia Lucas and one grandson, Fred Brown.
Surviving were her daughter, Jeanette Cox (John) of Climax; son, Utah Brown (Erma) of Liberty; brother; Calvin Brown of Julian; four grandchildren, Utah Brown, Jr., Tim Brown, Sherri Thompson and John Cox, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
