BURLINGTON — Hazel Jean Freeman, 77, of Liberty Commons, passed away at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Garnett Lee Freeman and the late Gladys Cobb Freeman and was also preceded in death by her brother, Horace L. Freeman Sr.
Ms. Freeman was a member of the First Christian United Church of Christ.
It was Hazel’s wish that her body be donated to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine’s Body Donation Program.
There will be no services at this time.
Donations may be made to First Christian United Church of Christ, 415 S. Church Street, Burlington, NC 27215.
Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Freeman family.
