Indianapolis Star---June 25, 2004Robert Franklin May 78, Indianapolis, passed away June 23, 2004. He was a graduate of Southport HS in 1944 and Purdue University in 1949. Robert was the vice president of Beveridge Paper Co. retiring in 1988. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, and a member of Zion United Church of Christ. Visitation will be Friday, June 25, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., also Saturday, June 26, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. with services at 1:30 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Survivors include his wife, Louise Marie Lemaster May; sons, Frederick Earl May, Richard Glen May; daughters, Barbara Ann Huffman, Marilyn Sue Whitaker, Anita Marie Law; brother, John L.
