SWEPSONVILLE, N.C. — Mrs. Carol Ann Toney, 41, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at her home.
A native of Burlington, Carol Ann was the wife of Russell W. “Rusty” Toney III and the daughter of Janice Grubbs Hester of Anderson and Ricky Cassidy (Debbie) of Creedmoor.
Carol Ann was employed as a Human Resources Specialist with NyPro and a member of The Lamb’s Chapel and the church’s Pink and Blue Ministries.
In addition to her husband, Rusty, of the home, and her parents, Carol Ann is survived by two daughters, Lauren Ashley Donnelly (Brian) of Mebane and Erica Toney Miner (Everett) of Chattanooga, Tenn.; son, Caleb Russell Toney of Greensboro; grandchildren, Trystan Calderon, Addyson Calderon and Ethan Miner (Nana Loves); sister, Ricki-Annette King (Clyde) and her children, Stephen and Destiny King; stepsisters, Felicia and Holly Hester; maternal grandmother, Frances Grubbs; motherin-law, Geraldine Walker; father-in-law, Russell Toney Jr.; sisterin-law, Angela (David) Swanger; and niece, Amanda Swanger.
Carol Ann was preceded in death by a grandson , Daylen Calderon; and her stepfather, Keith Hester.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at 11 a.m. at The Lamb’s Chapel in Haw River. Offi ciating will be the Rev. Brian Biggers. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park.
