Fern Jenkins Pike
GRAHAM — Mrs. Fern Jenkins Pike, 85, of 2045 Crescent Drive, Graham, died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 1:42 AM.
A native of Kings Mountain, NC, she was the wife of J. Ralph Pike Sr., who survives, and the daughter of William H. Jenkins and Pearl Hoard Jenkins, both deceased. She was a retired owner of Embers Restaurant and Motel. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Graham.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Vernon and husband Everett of Burlington; a step daughter, Cindy Dalton of Burlington; a stepson Jim Pike and wife Tammy of Swepsonville; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two step grandchildren; a sister, Janet Williams of Johnson City, TN: and a special friend Paula Price.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William H. Jenkins.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Graham on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM by the Rev. Kevin Baker. Interment of the cremains will follow at First United Methodist Church of Graham Memorial Garden.
The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service on Tuesday at First United Methodist Church from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.
