Annie Mae Neese Edmonds Victor
   WHITSETT — Annie Mae Neese Edmonds Victor, 89, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at the Hospice Home after a short illness.

   She was born in Guilford County to the late George Alfred Neese and the late Mary Ellen May Neese. Annie was married to the late James Monroe Edmonds and the late Charles Edward Victor.

   She retired from Dixie Belle, was an active member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ and a member of the Gleaner Sunday School Class.

   Survivors include her daughter, Pattie E. Dix of Elon; son and daughterin-law, Steve and Joan Edmonds of Yuma, Ariz.; stepdaughters, Adrienne and George Furgurson of Georgia and Sylvia Francis of Colorado; stepson, Jeff Victor of Colorado; six stepgrandchildren, four great-stepgrandchildren;

   brothers, G.A. Neese Jr. and Delbert Neese, both of Florida.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; a daughter, Julia Ellen Edmonds; brothers, Warren Neese, H. “Vincent” Neese and Colin Neese; and son-inlaw, Andrew “Frankie”

   Dix.

   The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ by the Rev. Lloyd Spencer with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. At other times the family will be at the daughters’ home.

   Memorials may be made to Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, 2400 Mt. Hope Church Road, Whitsett, NC 27377 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
