Nancy Barker Hall
ELON — Nancy Barker Hall, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Alamance County to the late Paul Gilliam and Myrtle Wagoner Barker and was married to Adrain Odell Hall, who died in 2007.
She retired from Miller Brewing Company after 20 years of service, was a member of Altamahaw Baptist Church and enjoyed fl ower gardening.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Hall (Junior Janney) of the home, Linda Lundy of Elon, Sandra (Lawrence) Alvis of Burlington and Sammy Hall (Jenny Gray) of Whitsett; eight grandchildren, Regan (Chris Sr.) Hinson, Bruce (Jennifer) Ayers, Jesse Ayers, Mandy Fogleman, Natalie (Matt) VanNorman, Melanie Alvis, Tiffany Lundy and Stormy Lundy; six great- grandchildren, Chris Hinson Jr., Anna Hinson, Kassie Ayers, Nathan Ayers, Angel Fogleman and Alayna Fogleman; sister, Doris (Don) Rascoe of Sanford; brothers, Dean (Dot) Barker of Oak Island and Charles (Liz) Barker of Burlington; and sisterin-law, Jackie Barker of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a brother, Wayne Barker.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Norman Fargis. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
