Lois Mae Murray Wheeler
 
 Lois Mae Murray Wheeler, 71, a resident of Above and Beyond Family Care passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at the Hospice Home. She was born in Alamance County to the late Alvis Monroe and Mary Elizabeth Ashley Murray and was married to the late Wallace Talmadge Wheeler. She was a homemaker and a former member of Wicker Street Baptist Church.
 
 She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Jean Chambers of Graham; three grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren and a sister, Louise (Tony) Stanley of Ruffi n. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Mary Catherine Chambers; sisters, Betty Salmons, Josephine Johnson and a brother, James Roy Murray.
 
 The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jim Bowman with interment to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30–1:45
 
p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
 
 The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to the nurses and staff at Above and Beyond Family Care and to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell for taking such good care of Mrs. Wheeler.
