Lois Henderson Lane
 
 GRAHAM — Mrs. Lois Henderson Lane, 96, died peacefully at Edgewood Place on Friday, June 20, 2014, at 7:45 a.m.
 
 A native of Chatham County, she was the wife of the late Charles Lane and the daughter of Walter C. Henderson and Lula Clegg Henderson, both deceased. She retired from the hosiery industry and was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.
 
 Survivors include a daughter, Becky L. Eatmon and husband David of Graham; three sons, Charles C. “Sonny” Lane and wife Reita of McLeansville, Tommy
 
E. Lane and wife Shirley of Graham and Jerry L. Lane of Mebane; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
 
 She was preceded in death by three sisters, five brothers and a daughter-inlaw, Kathy Huey Lane.
 
 The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Monday, June 23, 2014, at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Ray Gooch, pastor of Brown’s Chapel United Methodist Church, with the family receiving friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the residence of the daughter at 1927 Meadowview Drive, Graham.
 
 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or to the N.C. Macular Degeneration Research Association, c/o The Duke Center for Macular Diseases, 2351 Erwin Road, Durham, NC 27710.
 
 The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Hospice and Edgewood Place, 3rd Floor, Dogwood Terrace, for their care of Mrs. Lane.
