Linda Barber Creel
May 16, 1943 - March 15, 2013

Linda Barber Creel, age 69, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at ARMC. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Graham Robertson Creel.

Linda was a caregiver in our community for many years providing care to many families. She enjoyed baking cakes for her church, family and friends.Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include her sons, Keith Edwards and wife, Lisa of Burlington and Larry Ray Idol, Jr. and wife, Tracey of McLeansville; grandsons, Christopher Lee Edwards and Derek Lee Shoffner; granddaughter, Brooke Elizabeth Idol; great grandsons, Trevor Edwards, Dylan Edwards and Ryan Shoffner; sisters, Nettie Dodson and husband, Harry of Burlington and Sandra Whitt and husband, Ervin, of Elon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Cornelious Barber, Sr. and Ruth McCoy Cook Barber; brothers, Robert C. Barber, Jr. and David Barber and an infant brother, Bobby Barber.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dave Gilbert.

The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the funeral home and other times at the home of Keith Edwards.
