KERNERSVILLE — Lucian Norris Flynt, 66, passed away Monday, Dec.1, 2014. He was born Nov. 8, 1948, in Alamance County to the late Jones Orrin Flynt Sr. and Sarah Miles Flynt.
Mr. Flynt served in the United States Army and retired from Pilot Freight and Roadway Express after many years of service.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jones Orrin Flynt Jr.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Joyce Tout; son, Chad Flynt and wife, Bridget; brother, Michael Flynt and wife, Piper; grandchildren, Makenzie, Tara, Caleb, Aaron, and Cameron; and four nieces.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. Entombment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
In addition to flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
