Linda was born in Guilford County, to the late Julius Vance Clapp and Alene Lillian Farrington Clapp. She was a past employee of MacField, Inc.
Survivors include two sons, Kelly Easter and wife Kristina, Marty Easter and wife Carol; daughter, Sherrie Saunders; brothers, Jerry and Gary Clapp and sisters, Faye Tadlock and Betty Jo Scoggins. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, Ashley Hawkins, Allen Hawkins, Bre-Anna Easter, Cassie Easter, Nathasha Bullins, Wayne Saunders, LeeAnn White, and Hunter Knight and great-grandchildren, Timothy Bullins, Ryleigh Bullins, Adalayna Easer, Chayton Reid, Dhavian Redd, and Dallas Knight.
