BURLINGTON - Gerry Eugene Hodge, 79, of Burlington, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Hospice Home of Burlington.
Gerry was born in Alamance County to the late Eugene Aycock Hodge and Eula Mae Shambley Hodge and was married for 53 years to the late Peggy Walton Hodge.
He was formerly employed by Burlington Industries where he retired as a Department Manager. Gerry was a member of Baptist Temple of Alamance County.
Gerry is survived by his daughter, Kim Patterson and husband, Rusty; son, Jeff Hodge and wife, Lora; two grandchildren, Christian Hodge and Samuel Patterson; and three brothers, Ronald Hodge, RogerHodge and wife, Linda, and Kenny Hodge and wife, Judy.
Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Baptist Temple of Alamance County with Dr. Donald R. Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
