Mrs. Mozelle Clapp
GIBSONVILLE - Mrs. Mozelle Haymore Clapp, 51, of 212 Circle Dr. in Gibsonville died Friday afternoon at 12:15 o'clock in a Winston-Salem hospital following five years of declining health and three days critical illness.
A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse F. and Daisy Darnell Haymore and the widow of Lester Boyd Clapp who died in 1965.
She was formerly employed by Kayser-Roth Hosiery Co. in Burlington and was a member of First Baptist Church of Gibsonville.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Clapp of Gibsonville; a daughter, Mrs. Darnell Black of the home; four brothers, Vestal Haymore, Robert Junior Haymore, Shelvie Haymore, all of Gibsonville, and Hubert Haymore of Sanford; two sisters, Mrs. Margie Hamilton of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Luther Ingold of Burlington; and three grandchildren.
Final rites will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock at First Baptist Church in Gibsonville. The Rev. Billy Graham, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Gibsonville City Cemetery.
The body wil remain at Bartlett Funeral Home in Gibsonville until taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes before the service.
The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock.
