GIBSONVILLE — Collin Andrew Gwynn, 19, of 188 Parkdale Road, passed on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at Alamance Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Pleasant View Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Gary Loftis officiating. Burial will follow in the Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church cemetery, Elon, NC.
Collin was born March 23, 1996 and graduated from Bartlett Yancey High School in 2014. He has been employed with Food Lion since he was 16. He loved life, having fun and always lived for adventure. His passion included performance vehicles, especially trucks.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy Bullock; uncle, William Bullock; and aunt, Anita Gwynn Hogan.
He is survived by his parents, Terry and Joyce Gwynn of the home; brothers, Justin Gwynn and wife Heather of Elon, Philip Gwynn and Kaley Somers of Yanceyville; and sister, Hannah Gwynn and Will Wrenn of the home; nieces, Elle Mae and Allison Gwynn; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Mildred Gwynn of Gibsonville; aunts and uncles, Sandra King, John and Jennifer Gwynn (his other parents and their children, Jonathon and Jenna), Steve and Cathy McKoin, Sherill Bullock and Tony and Gloria Foster; and a large, extended family and many friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 18, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. and at other times at the home of his grandparents, Johnny and Mildred Gwynn, 312 Parkdale Road.
