Mrs Scarlette Troxler Robertson
October 31, 1947 ~ January 6, 2023
75 Years Old

Mrs. Scarlette Troxler Robertson, 75, of Burlington, passed away at AuthoraCare Hospice Home on Friday, January 6, 2023.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of James (Dickie) Robertson, and daughter of the late Loftin Paul Troxler and Winiford Dawn Thomasson Troxler.

Scarlette graduated from Western Alamance High School and would then go on to graduate from Bauder Fashion and Merchandising in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon her marriage to Dickie, the love of her life and with whom she enjoyed 54 years of life’s ups and downs, she joined St. Mark’s Community Church.

Early on she enjoyed serving in various capacities at St. Mark’s. She was most thrilled with introducing and chairing the Chrismon Committee. She also enjoyed fellowship and serving in “Circle”.

Scarlette enjoyed using her “green thumb” to plant beauty through her flowers. She especially enjoyed providing a decorative home for her family and made sure all seasons were celebrated, particularly from Christmas to Epiphany.

She maintained lasting relationships through good old fashioned correspondence of notes and cards, always sharing encouragement and care.

Above all, Scarlette’s greatest joy was being a dedicated, wife and mother and SHE LOVED her husband, daughter, and son-in-law, FIERCLY!

Surviving, other than her husband of the home, are a daughter, Natalie Jill Robertson Burrows and husband Simeon (Jason) Burrows of Gibsonville; a brother, Rodney Scott Troxler and wife Denise of Greensboro; an uncle, Tripp Thomasson and wife Teresa of South Carolina; a cousin, Paige Noble and husband Nathan of Indiana; two sisters-in-law, Pat Oakes and Carolyn Franks and her husband Richard, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at St. Mark’s Community Church with Rev. Robert M. Disher, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Atruim of the Church following the committal service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark’s Community Church, 1230 St. Mark’s Church Rd., Burlington, NC 27215 or to Shiloh Community Church, 4718 NC Hwy 87 N, Gibsonville, NC 27249. 261, Scarlette Troxler Robertson
