Margaret Simpson Reavis
Mrs. Margaret Simpson Reavis, 91, of 704 Brookgreen Terrace, Graham, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Claude Preston “C.P.” Reavis and the daughter of the late Henry Simpson and Katherine Huffines Simpson.
Mrs. Reavis was retired from the textile industry and Roses Department Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham.
Mrs. Reavis is survived by two daughters, Delores Joan Reavis of Graham and Linda Braden (David) of Inverness, Florida; one son, Steve Reavis of Graham; one grandson, Corry Matthews, of Florida and one brother, Harold Dean Simpson (Bernice).
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mona Naimby, Joyce Poteat and Ruth Dunn.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, March 30, from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 11:00 am in the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be the Rev. Travis Russell. Burial will be in Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Burlington Police Animal Shelter, 215 Stone Quarry Road, Haw River, NC 27258.
