Marylou Whitesell

Marylou George Whitesell, 74, of Gibsonville passed away at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home on Thursday, November 26, 2020.
 
A native of Smithfield, NC, she was the wife of Fred Lee Whitesell, who survives and the daughter of Charlie George and Mary Rochelle Lamb George, both deceased. She retired from Dixie Belle Fabrics and was a member of Guiding Light Baptist Church.
 
In addition to her husband of their home, survivors include a daughter, Sandy Whitesell Hart of Gibsonville; three brothers, Clint George of Burlington, Robert Lee George of Hillsborough, and Billy Joe George of Mebane; three grandchildren, Chris Hart and wife Brandy, Crystal Dunn, and Nicholas Hart; three great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
 
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Gibsonville City Cemetery. Other times the family will be at 501 Wood Street, Gibsonville, NC.
 
Memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Collective Hospice, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
