Beth Whitesell Cook
 

 
 Beth W. Cook, 64, of 3148 Timberlyne Drive, Mebane, passed away at the Hospice and Palliative Care Home of Alamance-Caswell on Thursday, January 21, 2016.
 
 A native of Alamance County, Beth was the wife of John T. Cook, who survives and the daughter of Jacob Caleb Whitesell and Mary Christine Isley Whitesell, both deceased. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and formerly worked for Cone Mills in the payroll department.
 
 In addition to her husband, of the home, Beth is survived by stepson, Wesley Cook, of Whitsett; a sister, Beverly W. Brown and her husband Joel, of Burlington; brothers, Bobby J. Whitesell and his wife Bonnie, of Goldsboro, Billy V. Whitesell and his wife, Sandy, of Roswell, Ga. and Barry
 
W. Whitesell, of Albemarle. She is also survived by two stepgrandchildren.
 
 She was preceded in death by a brother, Butch Whitesell and a stepson, Tommy Cook.
 
 A service to celebrate Beth’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016, at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. The Rev. Nathan Hooks will officiate.
 
 The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 2 p.m. At other times, they will be at the residence.
 
 In addition to her family and closest friends, the family wishes to extend a special thanks to Tom and Susie Allred, Richard and Elaine Sawyer and Sarah Strayhorn for their exceptional and heartfelt care of Beth during her illness.
 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care Home of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
