Mrs. Edith Overman Goins, 80, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Kate Overman.
Mrs. Goins was a member of Life Community Church and spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. Her greatest love was for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Goins is survived by her husband of 34 years, Dean E. Goins, four children, a special niece, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a brother, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2007 at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel. Interment followed in Guilford Memorial Park. 470, Edith Overman Goins
