GREENSBORO - On Sunday, November 14, 2010 heaven received another angel when Juanita B. Whitesell, 81, left this earth surrounded by those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years William H. Whitesell and six brothers and sisters; Berniece, Irene, Betty, Robert, Richard and Hugh.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons; Kenneth W. Whitesell of the home, Charlie Whitesell and his wife Sandy of Climax; one daughter Diane McLawhorn and her husband Toby of Kinston; special friend of the family Crystal Buff; three sisters; Janette Smith of Pleasant Garden, Mary Mauldin & Phyllis Parrish of Kernersville; brother David Paul Bull of Kernersville; five granddaughters; Sherrie Norris and husband Ranson, Angela Moseley and husband Wade, Wendy Medley and husband Frank, Miranda McLawhorn and husband C.J., and Krystal Whitesell; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will he held on Wednesday November 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Street Chapel with the Reverend Jerry Corpening officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and at other times at the residence.
The family would like to thank Community Home Care and Hospice of Burlington for their special care. Memorial contributions may be made to them at 2855 S. Church Street, Burlington NC 27215.
