Roger Lee DeHart, age 72, of Ararat, NC, passed away on April 13, 2017 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
 
He was born on February 6, 1945 in Matewan, WV to the late Ermil DeHart and Pansy Burgraff DeHart.
 
Mr. DeHart is survived by a loving wife, Judy DeHart; four sons, Roger DeHart II, Kris (Trina) DeHart, Mike DeHart, and Joe (Kim) Whitesell; two daughters, Ginna (John) Ruckh and Amy Quattlebaum; one brother, Jerry (Yvonne) DeHart; one sister, Mary Lou DeHart Blackburn; fourteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
 
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
 
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 4 P.M. with Rev. Ralph Casstevens and Rev. Dan Buie officiating.
 
Interment will follow at his own farm.

ARARAT — Roger Lee DeHart, 72, of Ararat, died April 13, 2017, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 6, 1945, in Matewan, WVa. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 17, from 2-4 p.m. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home. The service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at his own farm.
