Doris Sharon Walker Madren, 75, of 811 NC Hwy 87 Reidsville, N.C. went to be with Her Heavenly Father surrounded by her loving family Saturday April 6, 2013 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday April 9, 2013 at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A native of Reidsville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Hilliard and Aelise McKinney Walker and had lived in Rockingham County her entire life. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, where she had served on numerous committees throughout the years. Sharon was a Godly mother, and raised her children in a Christian home.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years: Jefferson “Jeff” Madren of the home, daughter: Labree M. Capps and husband Ken of Reidsville, NC, three sons: Joel W. Madren and wife Cherrie of Reidsville, NC, Todd M. Madren and wife Barbara of Reidsville, NC and Tony L. Madren and fiancé Angela Williams of Reidsville, NC, sister: Lawana H. Walker and her caregiver Brenda Loftis of Reidsville, NC, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.

The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Monday April 8, 2013 at Citty Funeral Home and following the service in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church and at other times they will be at the residence.
