CHARLOTTE — Henry Curtis Helms, 38, of Charlotte, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at his home.
Born May 14, 1965, in Alamance County, he was the son of Henry Lee Helms and the late Maxine McCollum Maness. He was a member of Telecommunication of Engineers and former vice president of Convacent LLC. He was presently co-owner of Big City Marketplace.
Survivors include his married companion, Lonnie Hines of the home; father, Henry Lee Helms of Lincolnton, N.C.; two half brothers, William Maness and Chad Maness, and grandmother, Mabel Christine Helms, all of Gibsonville, N.C.; and two stepdaughters, Melissa and Dora Hines, both of Charlotte.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at McEwen Funeral Service, Charlotte Chapel, 727 E. Morehead St. with Mr. Larry Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening at the funeral home.3, Henry Curtis Helms
