Ms. Ruby Maxine McCollum Maness
GIBSONVILLE — Ms. Ruby Maxine McCollum Maness, 59, of 6315 Carmon Road, Gibsonville, died May 27, 2001, Sunday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Guilford County, daughter of the late Mr. Herbert and Mrs. Ruby Forbes McCollum and a member of McLeansville Baptist Church. She was an insurance rate adjuster. She had a passionate love for her dogs and horses. She was an active member of various horse organizations. She will be truly missed by her three sons, who were her life, and her many friends. Survivors include three sons, Mr. Henry Curtis Helems of Charlotte and Mr. William Michael Maness and Mr. Chad Jason Maness, both of the home.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McLeansville Baptist Church by the Rev. Jack Lemons, pastor. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington.
The family will be at Bartlett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 this evening and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to McLeansville Baptist Church in McLeansville.3, Ms. Ruby Maxine McCollum Maness
