Mr. William Clyde Gilliam Jr.
MELBORNE, Fla. — William Clyde Gilliam Jr., 73, of 1949 Wallace Ave., died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at his home.
A native of Burlington, N.C., he was the husband of Doris Torres Gilliam, who survives, and the son of the late William Clyde Gilliam and the late Myrtle Marie Gilliam. He was a retired engineer with Lockheed Martin.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include a stepson, Al Bland of California; a sister, Rachel Kusterer of Mims, Fla.; and a brother, Wallace T. Gilliam of Pensacola, Fla.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Gilliams Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the funeral service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
