Mrs. Beulah Bland Gilliam
MELBOURNE, Fla. — Mrs. Beulah Bland Gilliam, 85, of 1949 Wallace Ave., died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at her home.
A native of Greenville, she was the wife of Mr. William Clyde Gilliam Jr., who survives, and the daughter of Mr. Joseph Benjamin Bland and Mrs. Susie Paramore Bland, both deceased.
She was retired from textile manufacturing and was a former member of Glen Raven Baptist Church.
Survivors other than her husband of the home include a son, Mr. Alton Rudolph Bland of San Jose, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Dora Lee Wedgeworth of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; a brother, Mr. Forrest Bland of Burlington; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Bobby Fann, pastor of Glen Raven Baptist Church. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 4 to 6 Sunday evening.
