Louise Blakley Somers, 79, of 140 Pursodu Dr. Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Saturday February 5, 2011 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Tuesday February 8, 2011 at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
A native of Surry County, NC she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Julie Sparks Blakley and had lived in Rockingham County most of her life. A member of First United Methodist Church, she was a past president of the Brookwood Garden Club and was preceded in death by her husband: Boyd W. Somers, Sr., 4 sisters and a brother.
Surviving:
Son: Boyd W. Somers, Jr. - - - - Reidsville, N.C.
Daughter: Denise S. Davis and husband Chip - - - Charlotte, N.C.
Grandchildren: Kristin Somers, Courtney Davis, Campbell Davis, and Morgan Somers
Great Grandson: Michael Bray Somers
The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Monday Feb. 7, 2011 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the residence 140 Pursodu Dr. Reidsville, N.C.
