Obituary Online notes for Norman Ferril HARRISON
Norman Ferril Harrison, age 63, entered into rest February 26, 2011 at the Welmont Hospice House in Bristol, TN. He was born May 29, 1947 to George W. and Pauline Harrison and had resided in the Blountville area most of his life. Ferril was the owner and operator of the Delmar Studios, but his passion was in sales which he had done most of his life. He was a member of the Bristol Optimist Club, and The Virginian. Ferril was a supporter of the Children’s Advocacy Center and the Second Harvest Food Bank. He was of the Presbyterian faith, and was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline. Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, Gail Harrison, one son, Rusty Harrison and his wife Alison of Blountville, one daughter, Heather Harrison Campbell and her husband Dwayne of San Antonio, TX., seven grandchildren, Seth, Hannah, Jacob, Jackson, Nicholas, Bryce, and Katie, his father, George W. Harrison of Burlington, N.C., one brother, Doug Harrison of Burlington, N.C., one nephew, W. Douglas Harrison of Burlington, N.C. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home, with funeral services being held at 7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at East Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Welmont Hospice House. The family would like to express appreciation to family and friends for the many deeds of kindness shown to them during Ferril’s illness. 470, Norman Ferril Harrison
