Bonnie Somers Huskey
GRAHAM — Bonnie Jean Somers Huskey, 81, passed away Sunday November 30, 2014 at the Hospice Home after 1 year of failing health. She was born in Alamance County to the late Herman
A. Somers, Sr. and Beulah Wrenn Somers.
Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of Ossippee Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Reid Huskey, Kenneth Huskey and wife, Beth; 3 grandsons, 1 great grandson, 2 great granddaughters, 1 grandson-in-law; sisters, Doris Godwin and Marie Bunn; special niece, Darlene Harrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, 1 granddaughter, 1 great granddaughter, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
The graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service.

Clyde Richard Huskey
BURLINGTON — Clyde Richard Huskey, 68, of 625 Plantation Drive died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro after a critical illness of two weeks.
He was a native of Caswell County and the son of the late Authur Richard and Lottie Walker Huskey. He is the husband of Pauline Carter Huskey, who survives. Mr. Huskey retired from Lemco Mills and he was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Carter Huskey of the home; son, R. Reid Huskey of Caswell County; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Lynn and Beth Huskey of Burlington; stepsons and daughters-in-law, L. B. Flynt, Jr. and his wife, Lee of Mebane, Kenneth Thomas Manuel and his wife, Debera of Mayodan, NC; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Teresa Stultz and her husband, Tim, of Eden; four grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren; sister, Gracie Smithey of Reidsville; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond C. Huskey and his wife, Dorothy of Burlington.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Clyde Richard Huskey, Jr.; two brothers and two sisters.
The funeral service will be held at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2003, and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM this evening at the funeral home and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the N.C. Kidney Foundation, 5970 Fairview Plaza, Suite 408, Charlotte, NC 28210.
