Obituary for Donna Huffines
Donna Faye Huffines, 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday January 11, 2013 at the O'Berry Center in Goldsboro.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Steve Pressley officiating. Interment will follow in Apple's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery in Gibsonville.
Donna was born on August 3, 1949 a daughter to Hasley Freeman Huffines and Carolyn Delores Nesbit Huffines. She was involved in Special Olympics and had many friends with whom she enjoyed fellowship. She loved traveling on many trips with her sister. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greensboro.
She left behind her brother; Charles F. Huffines and wife Linda of Durham and her sister; Joyce Gunn and husband George of Elon, NC and many relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Joyce and George Gunn, 2270 Elon-Ossipee Rd., Elon, NC at other times. The obituary and on-line condolences may be viewed at www.lambethtroxler.com
