Mrs. Lois Bowman Busick, 52, of 7910 Troxler Mill Road, died Saturday, April 13, 1991.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of J. W. Busick, who survives, and the daughter of the late James T. Bowman Sr. and Bessie McCormick Bowman.

She was employed by Burlington City Schools for 29 years and taught at Harvey Newlin Elementary School. She was a member of Delta Phi Kappa, a national teachers’ organization, and was affiliated with the NCAE. She was a member of Apples’s Chapel Christian Church.

Survivors other than her husband of the home: son, Jacen William Busick of Randleman; two brothers, Edward Bowman and James Talmadge Bowman Jr., both of Browns Summit; one sister, Miss Hean Bowman of Browns Summit.

The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church by the Rev. C. Allen Myers III, pastor, and the Rev. Lester Stanley, assistant pastor.

Burial will be in Apple’s Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.

The body will remain at lowe Funeral home until being taken to the church 30 prior to the funeral.

The family will recieve friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and at other times at the home of Cecil W. Busick, 7908 Troxler Mill Road, Gibsonville, NC. 3, Lois Bowman Busick
