Ms. Beatrice W. White
BURLINGTON — Ms. Beatrice “Bea” W. White, 92, of 2212 Wrenn St., died at 9:55
p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, after six months of failing health.
A native of Orange County, she was the wife of the late Mr. George Dewey White and the
daughter of Mr. Murke Eugene White and Mrs. Emma Durham White, both deceased. She
was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Graham and the Women’s
Missionary Union.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. C.B. (Peggie) Brown and Mrs. Maurice (Jean)
May and Mrs. Wade P. (Shirley) Salmon, all of Burlington; a son, Mr. Charles N. White
of Jamestown; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ms. Patsy Jo Horne; and a brother, Mr. Earl
Jennings White.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Graham by Dr.
Paul Lane and Mr. Phillip Bomberger. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home.
