BURLINGTON — Mr. Frank Edward James, 73, of 403 Trail Two, Burlington died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at 3:35 p.m. after two months of serious declining health and three months of serious illness.
A native of Cumberland County, he was the husband of Judy Roberson James, who survives and the son of Ernest James and Dorothy Stovall James, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U S. Army and retired from Clapp Brothers Furniture. Frank was a member of the Burlington Moose Lodge.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include two brothers, Gene James and Ron James, both of Graham. He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen James.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at 2 p.m. with the family receiving friends immediately following the service. Burial will be held in Pine Hill Cemetery.
