Deborah Coleman Montgomery

May 2, 1960 ~ September 19, 2021 (age 61)

Burlington-Deborah Coleman Montgomery, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at ARMC surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of James “Bud” Coleman, Jr. and Judy Cook Coleman.
     Deborah was employed at Lowes Home Improvement for several years. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Deborah was an avid Duke fan and enjoyed scarp booking. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and daughter.
      Survivors include her son, Gary “Scooter” Montgomery and wife, Paige of Burlington; grandchildren, Brantley and Kaeden Montgomery of the home; parents, James “Bud” Coleman, Jr. and Judy Coleman of Burlington; brothers, Jimmy Coleman and wife, Cindy and Gary Coleman of Burlington.
     A celebration of life will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Jackson and Rev. Jesse Baker.  Interment will follow at Shallowford Christian Church Cemetery. 
Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:30-1:45pm, Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of her son.
     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith United Methodist Church,1732 W. Davius Street, Burlington, NC 27215.
