BURLINGTON - Orville Max Guthrie, 52, of 2216 McKinney St. died Tuesday at his home.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Faith United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.

A native of Alamance County, he was a paint contractor, member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, and former coach of Little League boys' basketball and women's softball for the Burlington Recreation Department.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Betty Coleman Guthrie; daughters, Mrs. Debbie Welch of Louisiana, Mrs. Jackie Curcio of Raleigh, Mrs. Dawn Walker of Burlington; mother, Mrs. Sadie Guthrie Dickey of Burlington; sisters, Mrs. Kay Kimrey of Gibsonville, Mrs. Faydean Conerly of Plant City, Fla.; three grandchildren. 470, Orville Max Guthrie
