Mrs. Joy Bell Clinard Riley
BURLINTON — Mrs. Joy Bell Clinard Riley, 90, a resident of Sentara Nursing Center in Barco, died Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at Sentara Nursing Center. She was a lifelong resident of Burlington. A native of Kimball, W.Va., she was the daughter of Mr. Walter H. Clinard and Mrs. Myrtle Sullivan Clinard. She was retired from Kayser-Roth and was a member of First Christian United Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Ms. Pamela Geanes Durham and Ms. Sandra Riley Babcock, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pine Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Bob Barrows. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.Altmeyer Funeral Home in Virginia Beach and Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Burlington are in charge of arrangements.3, Mrs. Joy Bell Clinard Riley
