Myrtle "Aunt Myrtle" Lucille Loy Troxler
GIBSONVILLE — Myrtle "Aunt Myrtle" Lucille Loy Troxler, 99, formerly of Hwy 61 North, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the Hospice Home. She was born in Guilford County to the late Lacy Graham and Florence Wagoner Loy and was married to the late Benjamin B. Troxler. She was a lifelong member of Friedens Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Ladies Bible Class and served as a communion and baptismal assistant and on the altar guild for 20 years.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, and caregivers, Bobby Ray and Bonnie Loy, both of Gibsonville.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday at Friedens Lutheran Church by Pastor Bill Zima with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:15 prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Friedens Lutheran Church, 6001 Hwy 61 North, Gibsonville, NC 27249 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
