Mr. Robert Lee Parker

BURLINGTON — Mr. Robert Lee “Bo” Parker, 87, formerly of Powerline Road in Elon College, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Ga., after an illness of eight days.

A native of Lamar County, Ga., he was the husband of Mrs. Blonda Hensley Parker, who survives, and the son of Mr. Thomas Howard Parker and Mrs. Leah Jackson Coppedge Parker, both deceased. He was a retired dispatcher with AT&T and was a member of Faith Bible Chapel.

Survivors other than his wife of Burlington include two daughters, Mrs. June P. Barnett of Houston and Mrs. Jackie P. Heald of Marietta; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude P. Terrell and Miss Lois Parker, and three brothers, Mr. Ralph Parker, Mr. Rufus Parker and Mr. Raymond Parker.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel in Burlington by Mr. Mack Ray, layman. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.

The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 6 to 8 this evening and at other times at 343 Baldwin Road, Oak Creek Retirement Community, Burlington.3, Mr. Robert Lee Parker
