Arnold Richard Johnson
 
 Mr. Arnold Richard Johnson, 93, of 2512 West Front St., died at Hospice Home on December 13, 2015.
 
 A native of Hillsborough, NC, he was the husband of the late Blanche Rush Johnson and the son of the late Walter Lee Johnson Sr. and Laura Neta Terrell Johnson.
 
 He was an employee of the Defense Department at the Western Electric Company, Burlington, NC.
 
 He was a faithful member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, since its beginning in 1951. He served on the Board of Deacons and Session.
 
 Surviving are his son, Richard Johnson Jr. and his son Chad Johnson; daughter Sharon J. Hartis and husband Ron; granddaughter Jennifer Madenspacher and husband Brad and their children Calvin and Lane.
 
 Surviving are sisters, Arlene Quakenbush, husband Wendell, and Barbara Flack; a brother Ronald M. Johnson and wife Iris; and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
 
 He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Blanche Rush Johnson.
 
 He was preceded in death by a sister Maggie Johnson Britt; brothers Clarence Johnson, Walter Johnson Jr., Albert R. Johnson, and Paul Johnson; and one grandson, Jonathan Blair Hartis.
 
 The service will be conducted at 11 a.m., December 17, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1126 West Webb Ave., Burlington, by the Rev. C. Powell Sykes. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
 
 The family extends a special thanks to all of the Hospice Family, and especially his faithful caregiver, Whitney Neville.
