 BURLINGTON — Linda Stainback Loftis, 68, of 197 Bradford Lane, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016, following a period of declining health. She was born in Alamance County, July 4, 1947, to Walter W. Stainback and Dorothy Simmons Stainback.
 
 She was a graduate of Bartlett-Yancey High School, had a great love for paintings and also loved to work in her flower beds. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Caswell Ward.
 
 Funeral Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bishop Dwayne Bryant and Scott Oakley will be officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
 
 Survivors are husband, Donald Lee Loftis of the home; two daughters, Kaye Lea Adkins and Andrea Loftis, both of Burlington; two brothers, Garry N. Stainback of Burlington and Willard Ray Stainback of Abilene, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
 
 She was predeceased by her parents.
 
 The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church and at other times at the residence.
