BURLINGTON — Kayla Ann Summers, 20, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 11, 2016.
She was the daughter of Bernice “Shorty” Lee Summers Sr. and Betty Ann Foushee Summers. Kayla graduated from River Mill and was a junior at UNC-G. She enjoyed spending time helping children and dancing, tap, ballet and jazz.
Survivors include her parents of the home; family, Lee (Victoria) Summers of Burlington, Joseph (Sandra) Summers of Graham, Renee (Sid) Spence of Canada; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Darrell Massey. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 11:30 -12:45 Wednesday prior to the service and at other times at the home.
