CEDAR GROVE - Mrs. Ruby Pearl Walker Barts, 79, of Cedar Grove, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 at her residence following an extended battle with illness.
Mrs. Barts was born on July 10, 1933 in Orange County, N.C., daughter of the late Edward John and Elizabeth Ann Correll Walker. She graduated from Aycock School, retired from Dixie Yarns and was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 59 years, R.D. Barts; daughter, Patricia Jarrett and fiancé, Randy Saunders of Cedar Grove; sisters, Ruth W. Moore of Cedar Grove and Lois W. Elmore of Efland; grandchildren, Remington Jarrett and Clint Jarrett.
Funeral services will conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Mt. Zion Christian Church by the Rev. Rick Webster. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Walker's Funeral Home in Mebane. 470, Ruby Pearl Walker Barts
